Jeannie Shaughnessy

CEO/Owner

Jeannie is the CEO/Owner of Fortunach and is currently serving as the Executive Director and CEO for the Peanut and Tree Nut Processors Association.


Prior to re-entering the consulting world, she held the distinct honor of being the Executive Director responsible for transforming The Carl M. Freeman Foundation (a 50 year grant making organization) and launching the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation (a public charity). Before serving these Foundations she was the President and co-owner of Pathwise Partners, LLC.


Jeannie has more than 25 years of management and consulting experience with a focus on business operations, organizational development, change management and communications. She is a trained Executive Coach and a certified facilitator. Jeannie has served as an Interim Executive Director for Miriam's House and DC Alliance of Youth Advocates both located in Washington, DC.


Jeannie is a professional Advisory Board Member of EDC - and proudly served as a Board Member for ACT for Alexandria (Alexandra Community Foundation). She was also proud to be an Executive Committee Member of and Commissioner on the Alexandria Commission for the Arts, and an Advisory Board Member of Empowered Women International and has served on the Board of Directors of many non-profit organizations.


She is a graduate of Leadership Fairfax, Inc., The FBI Citizens’ Academy, and the Harvard Business School Social Enterprise.


She is an avid hockey fan, opera enthusiast, loves entertaining family and friends, can't get enough of her family and 2 dogs, treasures being near water -- and basically wishes she'd run and/or practice yoga every day (working on it!).
